KYLE STARTED HIS YOUNG ADULTHOOD WORKING IN HIS FAMILY'S AUTO SERVICE SHOP. LEARNING FROM HIS DAD AND GRANDDAD THAT A FAMILY BUSINESS IS BEING PART OF A BIGGER COMMUNITY. WITH AN ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST AND PIG PICKIN EVERY YEAR HE STARTED TO HONE HIS LOVE FOR SMOKING MEAT AND COOKING. FAST FORWARD TO 2013 KYLE WAS WORKING AS A TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER AND COOKING AT HIS DADS SHOP ON THE WEEKENDS FOR EXTRA MONEY. IT SOON BECAME EVIDENT THAT PULLING PERFECTLY SMOKED MEAT OFF A COOKER WAS WHERE HE BELONGED. A CUSTOM BUILT FOOD TRUCK AND 5 YEARS ON THE ROAD PREPARED HIM AND HIS FOOD FOR A STAND ALONE RESTAURANT HERE IN POWHATAN VA ON RT 60. WITH THE HELP OF SOME GOOD FRIENDS AND HIS MAIN SUPPORT SYSTEM ( WIFE AND DAUGHTER) NOW STANDS AN OLD SCHOOL BBQ JOINT WHERE THERE’S NOTHING FROZEN ONLY SMOKED TO DELICIOUS GOODNESS.
