Mrs. Beth Yagel

My name is Beth Yagel and I grew up in Peoria, Illinois. I moved to Florida in my twenties and worked in the travel and tourism industry for years. After volunteering in my son’s classroom, I realized that teaching was my true passion. My husband, son, and I relocated to Virginia where I completed my degree in History and Education at Mary Baldwin University. Having worked in public and private schools in various elementary grade levels, I feel so blessed to be teaching fourth grade at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot School. Teaching these interesting young people how to think for themselves and live out a Gospel inspired life is something I feel thankful for every day. I also co-sponsor a Girls on the Run team for 3rd-5th grade girls. This program focuses on building social, emotional, and physical skills in girls while encouraging healthy habits for life. When not at BSH, I enjoy cooking, crafting, and reading.
