I grew up in Meriden, CT, the youngest of six children. I attended Choate Rosemary Hall, a college prep school in Wallingford, CT, after which I attended Bates College in Lewiston, ME. I earned a B.S. in Chemistry and was a member of the Bates Women’s Varsity Volleyball team all four of my years. Go Bobcats!
For eight years, I worked for Pfizer Inc. in Groton, CT conducting Toxicology Studies, during which time I met my husband Justin. In 2012, we moved to Powhatan, VA from Rhode Island along with our two children, Tyler and Tabitha. Tabitha has attended BSH since the 2nd grade and will be in 9th grade this year. Tyer is in his last semester at Longwood University.
I am a parishioner at St. John Neumann Catholic Church where I am also a member of their choir as well as a cantor. I enjoy traveling with my husband and going to the beach with family and friends. I enjoy spending time with my German Shepherd dog, Lucy, and our family’s 11 chickens: Kinkajou, Glacier, Tiger Claw, Nix, Yennifer, Froshe, Arya, Scottie, Siri, Moonwatcher and Chrissy.
