I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. After moving to Beaumont, Texas in 2000, I earned an additional degree in Education from Lamar University. I then began a 15 year teaching career at a small, family oriented Catholic school, very similar to BSH, in which I taught Middle School Science, Mathematics, and Language Arts. This experience led me to BSH in 2017.
I am married with three grown sons and two grandchildren. Teaching is my passion, and I enjoy planning challenging yet engaging lab activities for my classes. When away from the classroom, I enjoy hiking, decorating, spending time with family, and traveling with my husband. I am blessed to be a part of the BSH family.
